View and learn about 15 incredible murals along Van Nuys Blvd. Learn the history, hear the inspiration and meet the artists (maybe even see some live painting along the way). Special guest speakers on selected tours. Tours are be led by two local artists that have been involved in the creation of the murals in various ways. Funds collected from the tour will help to start a mural conservation fund.
We will be taking a short Metro bus ride from Brandley Ave to Arleta Ave and then walking 1.5 mile back. Please arrive on time to make it on the bus, it leaves promptly at 10:15. Wear comfortable shoes. Bring umbrellas, caps, sunscreen and/or water bottles anything you may need to make the 1.5-mile walk comfortable for you.
Meet at empty lot next to Myke's Cafe, 13171 Van Nuys Blvd, Pacoima, CA 91331.

Parking: Tresierras Supermarkets is graciously allowing tour attendees to park at their location for 3 hours, please park vehicles towards the back of the lot to allow for market customers to park closer to the store. The parking is located at 13158 Van Nuys Blvd. Pacoima, CA 91331.
Public Transportation: Metro 233 stops at Van Nuys Blvd./Ralston only a few steps away from the meeting area. www.metro.net
Myke's Cafe, a local restaurant, is also offering a FREE DRINK (non-alcoholic) with a purchase of a meal to those that attend the tour.
